From my home based studio, in Somerset, I offer a bespoke millinery service for Brides, Mother of Brides, Mother of Grooms, and guests, also for those of you who would like something special to wear to the races.
I specialise in silk hats but also use the finest sinamays and straws, using traditional techniques, wooden hat blocks together with my own patterns to create individual and elegant headpieces to finish your outfit.
I have a selection of styles suitable for both wedding and race days available for sale.
Appointments can be up to an hour or two. England's smallest city, Wells, with its selection of ladies boutiques, gift shops, tea-rooms and of course, the Cathedral, is close by. You might like to plan your day to visit some of these as well.
DESIGN SERVICE
When designing your headpiece, the style of your dress/suit, your frame and personality are all taken into account. My aim is to make you feel happy and confident in your new hat.
As well as a selection of styles for you to try, your ideas are welcomed and incorporated to create a headpiece that is truly individual to compliment your outfit.
If you are having your outfit made especially then we can incorporate some of the fabric into your design, whether all or some of the hat or just the decorative corsage detail. Feathers, sinamays and straws can be dyed to match.
Pease allow at least an hour for your visit and bring some or all of your outfit.
Please allow a minimum of four weeks for bespoke orders.
